Rigtools tutorial by subspace

>!  BEFORE YOU DO THIS, GO TO “ chrome://version ” AND CHECK IF YOU ARE ON V129

RIGTOOLS IS PATCHED   V129

> As you can see, i am on v126  so this will work

~~ INSTRUCTIONS ~~

> Open devtools://devtools/bundled/devtools_app.html  in a new tab, then right click on the tab, click add to new group, and turn on “ Save Group ”

> Add a new tab to the group, and then go to this URL in the new tab:

devtools://devtools/bundled/devtools_app.html?experiments=true&ws=rig.kxtz.dev/

> Go to the network  tab, and wait for a grey box to appear

(like this):

> Double click the grey box, and a tab that looks like this should open

> Click the “ GForms Locked Mode ” button. A new tab should appear, and it will look like this.

> Securly will block  the page however, so you need to immediately  click the toggle switch for “ All Extensions ”.

> You’ll know you did it because all of the extensions will disappear from the right of the url bar.

> Your chromebook is now unblocked . Enjoy!

>? IMPORTANT NOTES:  if you restart , all the extensions will  come back. The extensions may also re-enable periodically, but if you did not close the chrome.management disable extensions tab, then you can just disable them again.

>! TRY TO AVOID UPDATING

Updating  your chromebook often patches  really good exploits!!!

If you update to   v129 , rigtools is patched !

> If you accidentally update, not all hope is lost. You can downgrade , and unpatch  the exploits.

>? ADDITIONAL NOTE:  If you do  update to v129 , and you have already rigged an extension, you can still access the rigged page!
